Urban Street

Tabreen's best friend Kileena who she's known since childhood, is plotting to steal her so- called happiness and make it her own... but Tabreen has another delimma; torn between two men she's forced to make a decision that could change her life forever.

The hot spot had a long line out front but Kilee had connections so they didn’t have to wait. The music was just right and the whole club was jumping to the Bossy song as they walked in. “ I’m bossy, I’m the first girl to scream on the track…”

“Ooh girl, that’s what’s up!” Kilee moved to the beat of the music, shaking her hips and dropping her ass to the floor.

Tabreen and Tangie followed her out to the dance floor where they all shook their hips and dropped to the beat. Tangie accidentally bumped against a man dancing behind her.

“Excuse me.” She said.

“Nawh, you good lil momma.” He replied. He dance his way into her but before he got too close she stopped him in his tracks.

“Uh, uh, you don’t know me like that!” She confirmed.

“You damn near knocked me down with all that ass and I can’t get a dance?” He asked.

“Look, nigga I said excuse me, that’s all you get!”

Without saying anything else the man danced his way back into the crowd and disappeared. They stayed on the floor through four songs then went to the bar for drinks.

“First rounds on me!” Tabreen shouted over the music. She ordered a Vodka with orange juice. “What you hoochies drinking? She asked as they all followed her to the bar.

“Cognac and sprite on ice.” Tangie answered. She received a look from Tabreen and responded to it. “What? You know I gotta have my Brandy so don’t even trip.”

The three of them danced in their seats and watched the dance floor from the bar.

Kille asked, “What time you hooking up with Razmo, Breen?”

“As soon as I leave here.”

“Where yall going any way and when you gone let me meet him?”

“Bitch don’t play! I already told you I ain’t telling you nothing, so quit asking.” She smiled but Kilee smirked and went back to sipping her drink. Before they could focus their eyes back to the dance floor a Morris Chestnut  look alike was standing in front of them. He was wearing slacks, a button down shirt and collar.

“What’s up, baby?” He said looking at Kilee.

“She answered, “Nothing. Now move you blocking my view.”

“Come dance with me, baby.”

“I ain’t dancing with you!” She snapped.

Oh, so it’s like that?”

She didn’t answer she mugged him instead. He waved her off and walked away just as smooth as he came.

She yelled, “Bye!” Then laughed.

Tangie was giving Kilee a nasty look that she didn’t notice because she was too busy laughing.

Tabreen asked, “Why you do shit like that, Kileena? He looked like one of the few descent niggas around here. See, I don’t understand you-you always send the good niggas packing and welcome the  "Ain’t Shit" niggas with open legs.” She laughed but tried not to hide her sarcasm.

“Girl, don't’ act like you didn’t see what that fool had on.” She said still laughing. “ Besides that nigga ain’t shit just like the rest of them.”

“Well, shit he should be just what you looking for.” Tangie added.
